THISISYOURCENTER

Our Philosophy

We are focused on providing the clinical and support services necessary to achieve the individual and family goals.  To accomplish this Your Center recruits the appropriate staff that has the clinical skills and cultural awareness to effectively address the needs of those served.  This also requires that we provide the necessary training opportunities both through the organization and through training opportunities to help our staff strengthen existing skills, maintain cultural sensitivity, and develop new skills.

Effective intervention requires the engagement of other community services.  For our children, youth, and family this means assisting them in accessing education, housing, employment, and recreation.  The overall desire is to motivate them to see what they need to succeed, to guide them toward recognition of what is a positive action for them to thrive and to help them develop the appropriate internal and external supports.

Five Defining Principles

  •  Commitment
  •  Comprehensive
  • Collaboration
  • Community
  • Cutting Edge

our vision

The vision of Your Center is to be a comprehensive behavioral health program that identifies and addresses the areas which will assist the adolescent and family become more functional and successful.  Through continual formal and informal exchange with the child, adolescent and family served, the community, the funding sources, and the referral community Your Center will attempt to continually strengthen its services and identify gaps in services and when appropriate engage in programming that will attempt to respond to these service needs.  Through the development of cost-effective community-based programs, Your Center plans to develop the appropriate array of services to positively engage the youth and assist them in working to reach their individual potential.

Our success in this comes about through a focus on helping the client identify goals and ways that they can be accomplished.  By supporting strengths/assets we empower the individual and family and increase commitment to change.  There is a  myriad of needs faced by individuals with substance abuse and mental health issues and our effort in service planning and service delivery is to help them identify their goals and to facilitate the accomplishment of these individual goals.
